My daughter wants to start taking ballet lessons. What clothing items should I purchase for her?
It depends on the age of your daughter. A beginning dancer will usually need a few basic items. These items include: tights, shoes, and leotards. But you may also want to consider buying leg warmers and a dance bag. All of these items can be purchased at an Online or local dance store.
My husband and I are going to begin ballroom dancing lessons. What should we wear when we go to each lesson?
Since you are just beginners your dancewear should be different than professional ballroom dancers. You may want to start with street clothes for your first few lessons. As you get more advanced in your dance moves you can try more appropriate clothing, perhaps a dress and heels for you and pants and a nice shirt for your husband.
How to I choose the right leotard for me?
It depends on your body type and the specific form of dance that you are practicing. You may need a long sleeve leotard or a short sleeve leotard. Your best bet is to visit a dance shop in your area for a leotard fitting.
